Thirty days hath September,April, June, and November;

All the rest have thirty-one,

Save February, with twenty-eight days clear,

And twenty-nine each leap year.

Simple right? No. Even with MS Date and Time feature, June manages to acquire an extra day five years in the past. That’s right in case you have missed it 31st June 2005 is the date that the 2011 financial year ended.

Credit where credit is due, at least the correct month has been identified rather than the usual finger counting needed to determine that indeed October is the tenth month in the Gregorian calendar.  What was Julius Caesar thinking in 46BC in shifting October’s position from the eighth month to the tenth.  Could he not foresee the dramas it would create in 2011? God help us when November rolls around.  There are no more digits on the hands to be spared.
